anxiety + stress

+ the nervous system

Living in a constant state of stress can leave you feeling depleted, disconnected, and like you’re just trying to survive the day. Anxiety and burnout don’t just affect your mind. They impact your whole body, from energy levels and sleep to digestion, hormones, and long-term health. At Root Cause Wellness and Therapy, we take an integrative approach that supports both your nervous system and your physical health, helping you move from overwhelm to balance.

your mental health has a direct impact
on your physical health.

When your nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight mode, your body perceives stress as a constant threat, releasing hormones like cortisol and adrenaline to help you respond. Over time, this constant activation can lead to chronic inflammation, disrupt sleep, digestion, and hormone balance, and increase the risk of long-term health conditions. By addressing both anxiety and stress, we support your whole body and create space for true, integrative healing.

care created for you

Your first session lays the groundwork with a thorough intake, where we explore both your mental health and the ways stress may be affecting your body. From there, we’ll create a plan that fits your needs, typically meeting weekly or biweekly. Each session is collaborative and focused on your goals, giving you a steady space to reflect, regulate your nervous system, and develop tools for managing anxiety. Every 6–8 weeks, we’ll check in on your progress and adjust your plan so your care continues to support you where you are.

changes that last

Healing anxiety and chronic stress is both a process and a partnership. Together, we’ll use evidence-based strategies to calm your nervous system, reframe anxious thoughts, and strengthen your resilience. At times, we may also explore lifestyle support, nervous system regulation practices, or functional wellness tools to address the deeper connections between stress and physical health. This integrative approach ensures your care is practical, personalized, and designed to create lasting balance.

I partner with Headway, a billing company that helps process insurance claims. Currently, I am in-network with Optum, United Healthcare, and Anthem. If you’re insurance provider is not in-network, we’re happy to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. We aim to keep sessions both affordable and impactful, so you can feel confident in your care.
